When you use reporting, you may need to change the default timeframe the report was built with. You have the ability to change the dates to suit the timeframe you need. These changes will be applied temporarily as you view the reporting and will not be saved for others.  

Note: if you need the default timeframe to be changed please contact your System Administrator. 

Change date filters on a report

  • At the top of a report, you will see the FleetOps date picker. Changing the dates with this will change the dates for all the gadgets/charts on the screen.

  • If you click on the Rolling option, you will see a submenu where you can pick a particular timeframe or change which date you are querying by.

  • If you click on the dates, you can pick specific dates from the calendar.

  • A change of date will apply immediately. It will not be saved so if you navigate away, you will need to re-apply your options. 

Change date filters on a dashboard

A dashboard has a number of different gadgets, so they do not share one date picker. 

  • On dashboards, click on the date picker at the bottom left of any gadget.

  • Pick a new date range to see a temporary change. You can decide whether to select a period or specific dates.

  • When you refresh your dashboard the date range will return to the saved setting



Change date filters on a workspace

Workspaces do not have a date range. As the workspace is made up of different pieces of content, you will need to change the dates on each piece of content as needed.

Change date filters on a KPI list

A KPI list has one shared date range. You can see this on the top right of the list.
  • To temporarily change this, select an option from the dropdown.

Change date filters on board

A board will show a list of resources over one time period. It always shows the latest time period e.g. latest week or latest month. You can see this at the top right of the board.
  • To temporarily change this, select a previous period from the dropdown.
